Mindzane ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (the "Act", known as Law 25 as amended), the federal PIPEDA, and Canadian privacy law generally.

1. Who we are

We are Mindzane, an independent type foundry based in Vieux-Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Contact: info@mindzane.com.

2. What we collect

• Your name and email address at checkout
• Order details and payment confirmation (no card numbers are stored on our servers)
• Shipping address for printed specimen booklets (Library purchases only)
• IP address and browser type for fraud prevention

3. Why we use it

• To process your purchase and deliver the font files and licence
• To ship the printed specimen booklet where applicable
• To respond to licence questions and support requests
• To comply with Canadian and Quebec tax law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Payment processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

5. Sharing

We share data only with Stripe (payments), our hosting provider, our email delivery service, and our shipping partner for specimen booklets.

6. Retention

We retain order records for 7 years to comply with Revenu Quebec and the Canada Revenue Agency. Contact form enquiries are deleted after 12 months.

7. Your rights under Law 25 and PIPEDA

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements
• Withdraw consent for future processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca)

Essential, session-level cookies only. No tracking or advertising cookies.
